a scarred heart always cries red tears
tears of resentment and sorrow
never ending agony that lasts for years
a soul crying out for lost love
yearning for a love never found
following false hope
crying for unforseen circumstances
eating away at any sign of happiness
leaving me with nothing
where was this unseen love why i spent endless nights alone?
where was your unseen devotion when i spent endless months
wondering what mistakes led me to this
what could i possibly have done
to deserve such a fate
to have my heart ripped to shreds
