My parents stayed at a bed and breakfast about 15 minutes from here over night. They had a good time (of course they would) and I'm glad that they could enjoy themselves finally. My mom was really missing my dad for those 9 months that he was gone. I can't even imagine it really. I mean...I missed him but obviously not in the same way as his wife would.
Clarice is spending the night at her friend Kiley's house. Her mom just found out that she has breast cancer so I kinda feel bad for their family because I don't think Kiley and her little sister Kate know yet. I'm glad my momma doesn't have it though. It's kinda weird considering their mom is only like...36 years old or something.
Eloise is on an outing with a family friend (and former 9th grade global teacher of mine) as a belated birthday promise. She was given $25 build-a-bear dollars so shes' gonna go out to eat and go to the mall and get some new clothes for her adorable bunny.
Kinda bored and I don't know why anyone cares but oh well. ^_^' I've been listening to AOL radio a lot recently and I love it. They FINALLY added an 'Anime Radio' station where I can listen to random anime songs one right after the other. If I really love them I can just download an individual track to test it and then buy the CD afterwards because the radio says the artist's name and album the song is from. One particular song I'm obsessed with at the moment.
Has anybody heard 'Cloe' from 'Earth Girl Arjuna'? It's by Yoko Kanno (my ALL TIME favorite composer) and the one thing that interests me the most about that song is the language it's in. At first you listen to it and part of it sounds like English. Then you listen again and there are some parts that sound German. Then when you REALLY pay attention you realize that it's really not a language at all but instead some made up non-sense language that's meant to paint a picture instead of make sense. It's a beautiful song so if you've never heard it I suggest you find someone who as who can send it to you or something. It's amazing. I love all of Yoko Kanno's music...especially the songs that sound exotic. ^_^ I love languages probably as much as she does. (even if they aren't REAL languages)
So yeah. I'm obsessed with 'Cloe' so you should be too because it's a beautiful song.
