Dead to Me, written by Anton Strout, is a decent enough book. Certainly keeps the reader on tiptoe with detailed imagery, readable fight scenes (and there are a lot of those), as well as a street-talking, down-to-terrafirma point of view that provides as much laughter and smirks as it carries the reader into the narrator's own fear, emotions, and motivations.
