Wheel of morality: turn turn turn!
Tell us the lessons that we should learn~
train of thougt, perhaps?
I look up to the sky through my open window
moonlight and starlight graze my face
and as i look t the stars that bid me to them
I found myself in a distant place
I look around and try too see where this star way has brought me
but all alone i start to walk and all alone i start to talk
This walkway...this bridge...
it seems to drift endlessly in an ocean made of the universe itself
and in both directions the bride seems to go on forever, unyielding to my own desires and unaware of the passage of time.
This place...transcendent in it's own way.
The bridge begins to wind and bend
but shows me neither beginning or end
but wraps and warps in every which way
without meaning, purpose, reason or way
to predict it's movement or path
So onward I walk, the stars above my head.
And onward I press, the stars to my left
And onward I run the stars to my left
And onward I walk the stars below me.
As the bridge begins to spiral down, i find myself having lost the concept of gravity and direction.
However, this is no reason to stop or turn back, so i continue to press on
The stars begin to grow fewer and farther between, a forlorn thought of emptiness creeping over myself
until there is naught.
not a light
not a sound
not a sight.
Naught but me, and the bridge that I cannot see....
I get on my knees, and press forward, feeling with my hands, and slowly making my way.
Suddenly, there is no longer a path. Not behind me, in front of me, above me, or to the side of me. Down is the only option, so i let myself fall.
As i fall, the stars begin to return, and light up all around me, as the swirling arms of galaxies arch every which way. I fall, faster and faster, until i feel my body being pulled.
Harder the pull is, as if a hand had come out of the darkness to squish a life in it's foul grasp. My hand stretches outwards, longing to grab hold of a star or an arm of a galaxy, but the pull is to strong, and my body is torn away from the astronomical splendor. I fall into white
yes...white. not darkness, but the opposite. And my leg emerges through my window, as my body is flung onto my bed, the stars blinking in the distance.
