 "UWAHH.." Shad grunted, as the blade was thrust through his stomach. Blood spilled from his lip, as he looked up at the masked murderer's face. Slowly, the murderer pulled the blade out, and then shoved it into his chest. "Wh...o...are...y...ou.." Shad managed. His icy blue eyes looked white, as the murderer took off his mask. Shad gasped, and his eyes widened. And then he fell, blood painting the wood floor a crimson color as it spilled from his wounds.
The sound of an alarm clock woke Shad from his deep slumber. He looked out the window. The skies were gray, yet again. Sighing, Shad grabbed clothes, and jumped in the shower, then brushed his teeth. He grabbed a cup of coffee, and tightened his tie. "Damn, Today's going slow, and it's only.." He said, glancing at his watch. "11:45?!" He shouted, his eyes widening. He opened and shut the door quickly, then ran to catch the bus.
Shad ran onto the bus, paying the fare, and plopping down in a seat next to a woman he didn't know. She gave him an ugly look, and he smiled, and waved, and then she looked disgustedly out the window. "b*****d children...Parent's abandoned them, and now THEY Gotta work..Such a shame.." She muttered to the window. "b*****d?" Shad asked, wide eyed. "b*****d; Children with no parents. They ain't got no momma, no daddy, no nothin. " She spat at him, then wrinkled her old and large nose in his face. He nodded, then raised his eyebrows a bit. His eyes watched out the front of the bus, and when they were within a block of his building, he jumped off, and then ran to the office. He burst through the doors with heavy breathing. "Mr. Starks?" The secretary said. No one ever remembered her name. Janice? Julie? Whatever. "No...I'm fine..Am i late....?" He hesitated to hear her say her name. "LISA." she grunted, and rolled her eyes. Her blonde hair sat around her shoulders, as she took his bag, and ran to his actual office with it. She straightened his tie, and then the shoulders of his suit. "Good?" He asked. "Perfect." She smiled.
