Chapter 4

I just stood there looking at the ground and just grunted at the site and looked around my surrounding. Shrugging I just walked back to the sleezy appartment I lived in and just went to sleep a dreamless sleep. When I woke, I heard a noise comming from somewhere in my place. I looked over at my digital clock as saw it was three in the morning. the noise sounded like footsteps, but at the same time sounds like that weird squishing sound when a child squeezes mashed potatos between their fingers. Sitting up in bed I just pressed my fingers into my forehead, and groaned as I got up. The noise stopped for a second when i got up. As quietly as i could, I opened the bed stand next to my bed and pulled out a .44 magnum and opened and checked the cylinder.
The door exploded as a large burly man crashed through, what i didn't expect was to see him in his birthday suit. Another thing that stood out was that he looked as if he was covered in some sort of liquid, for the lights of the city that peered through the shades reflected off him. I quickly brought up the pistol to aim and pulled the trigger and with a Bang he staggered back a step. the man just looked down at the small hole in his chest and looked back at me and smiled as he came back at me. Panicked, I pulled the trigger again and again but the man wasn't going down He grabbed me by the neck of my shirt and threw me out the window and down into a dieing tree which slowed my fall and reduced the impact on the ground to something more survivable. It didn't hurt any less, it wasn't easy to get up from the fall but I manage to stagger back up only to have the man jump down the window next to me, he was peachy keen when he landed, the p***k. He grabbed me by the collar again but this time I was able to bring the hand cannon back up and this time put the barrel to his neck and and fired what i had left. The man dropped onto his knees and then fell over with his head barely hanging on.
