Jake awoke in his sleep. What a dream, he thought. It all seemed so real nowadays. Oh well, he figured, guess there's no school today. What to do, what to do, he pondered. Suddenly he had a revolutionary idea. He ran to his friend's house, even if it was a mile away. He always thought a mile as 5,000 feet so it wouldnt feel as long a distance. He saw a street performer. He thought, why would a street performer be in the suburbs, escpessialy on this street... Escpecially at 11:00 in the morning... Oh well, he figured, worse things have happened. He finnaly arrived at Robert's house. He rushed in the house to tell him the good news. "Rob! Rob! where are you!" Jake yelled. "Rob?" he asked, in a more quiet tone. That was strange, he thought, he's always home on Saturdays. Oh well, he figured, there'd always be next week.
