Wooooooo! I went to an anime convention today! It was the Chibi-Pa con. I had so much fun; I got a hat. It's from Azu Manga Daioh, it's a grey cat with teeth. It looks like it's eating my head! All day long, people kept coming up to me and telling me how much they loved my little hat. lol They even sold Gaia hats! But I was pretty much broke, they costed 25 dollars. ;-; And I wanted a BTK... Oh, but I still had so much fun! They had a cosplay improv, all of these dealers selling art and various goods, a cosplay contest (A group of FF Advent Children cosplayers won), an art contest, a video game room, a dance party (or rave, whatever you want to call it), and a how-to on kimonos. There was alot more, but I can't name them all here! I bought as much as I could with my limited budget. I purchased a journal from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, a bracelet, and an origami book. I also won a free poster in a coloring contest! >w< I met alot of interesting people, it was so much fun! I even met some Japanese people.

Oh, and they also had screenings for various anime; I got to see Lucky Star! And in the panel room, they had a seminar on these clans (yes, real life clans!!) throughout the nation that actually fight with each other using armor and non-lethal weapons. It was so interesting! Omg, I had so much fun; I can't wait till my next con! By the way, this con was my first. Wheee!
