So, I am working on this story and i decided i would post it bit by bit here in my journal in hopes for some feedback and supposrt from users. So here is part one. Please let me know what you think and ask your friends to take a look. Thanks!!

The sky was full of stars, and the moon shone brightly on the forest of Avenheim, lightly lighting the path for those daring to tread the land that night. However beautiful the forest may be, those who generally ruled it were not so beautiful in nature. Yet, Cara had no care for that now. All she wished for at this moment was for the moon to light her way far from where she came. She knew they would notice her absence eventually from the circle, but she had to take this chance. She couldn’t stand to spend on last minute with those… those brutes. Yes brutes. That’s what they are. Blood loving heathens who possessed not a shred of feeling for the world and those in it. She had to take her chance now, or lose herself to the blood.
Cara ran north, following the Guiding Star to Druidia, only casting small glances to her back, and always keeping her ears open to the sound of pursuit. Perhaps they would not notice. Perhaps, being so caught up in their fervor, they would simply overlook her from the crowd?
A sharp crack of a twig to her right drove out that thought completely.
No. They would not forget. Could not forget. She is one of them. A vampire. Yet not a vampire. She still possesses a beating heart….a trace of the living. A soul. She didn’t know how or why it happened. She just is. And they want her back. She knew it. She could feel it in her blood. It called to them, and they respond.
