As the leaf falls away from the stem with the pressure of my blade, I am entranced. I dream of a different world. The one we should live in. You know, the idyllic one. Where we live in houses that weren't purchased by or for us, but built by the people who would one day live in them. The food we eat was nurtured with our own two hands. Where your neighbors are friends. People you can trust. You have no fear that they will double cross you. Every person is of equal importance, no matter their role or responsibilities. Where everything and nothing is yours, at the same time. Posessions are things that can be thrown away, not animals or people. It's a world where the bad doesn't seem so bad, and the good is so much better. There's no greed or envy. Just love.
