Argus invited me to drink with him. I guess he forgot about how I was the one who relized that he was a playboy and told Akari. He ordered two of the house specials. Vodka with strawberry corgile. The Strawberry part was tempting, but I didn't drink it. Only pretend.
"So long time no see, huh?" Argus said, he took a sip of the vodka.
"Yeah." I stirred the drink with a small spoon.
"You haven't changed." he chuckled. "Your still timid, I see." I'm not sure that's how the others would describe me. But then again, I guess I was like this because I was abit frightened about what was going on.
"Um, Argus. Do you mind if ask you something?"
"Hm? Uh, sure." He took another sip. Ok, he seemed to going along with it. Which ment he was expecting somthing in returned.
"So..." I choose my words carefully, "Have you heard about that fog that's covering Gaia?" He laughed. Vodka almost coming out of his nose.
"Who hasn't? I'm mean, like you said, 'it's covering Gaia.'" i felt a little stupid. "But I know something others don't."
"What's that?"
"Where it's coming from."
"Really, how do you know." I gave an awed expression. He was buying it.
"Oh, about a few monthes ago, I was on this small island and found a dark misty cave." He took another sip, " I felt intoxicated for being in there. I almost lost my head. But I left the island before anything happened. Then, a month later, the mist shows up. Who knew I discovered something so important." He seemed proad of himself.
"Wow, I'm so impressed Argus." I said, pretenting to be impressed. I looked at him with puppy dog eyes. "Where is this island?"
"Hm, oh just about 10 miles off the coast of the isle of Gambino. It was the first place to be struck, you know." obviously. Considering how close it was. I was now free to go. I got what we needed.
"Well, it's been nice talking to you Argus. I got to go." And I got up to leave. He grabbed me.
"Now, now, how about repaying me for answering you questions." He snickered. I knew it. I knew he wanted something.
"Depends, what do you wants." I asked. I was afraid of his answered.
"Well, how bout you and me go rent a little room at the inn next door and you can repay me there." He chuckled. That perverted playboy. He puckered his lips, wanting a kiss too.
I hit him. I didn't slap him, I hit him. He stumbled back, grasping the spot where my fist impacked. I stared for a few seconds, then ran out of the bar. I wasn't even sure if it was the same as Akari's or the one we entered through. I could hear Argus cursing, but I continued to run. I was too scared to look back. After a few minutes of running, I began to walk again.
I looked at my suroundings. I was in a unfimilar place. I was lost.
