Dear Journal,
I just got back from camping! It was way fun, even though all we did was hike and play card games. We went to this place called China Camp, because apparently Big Sur was the victim of a recent forest fire. I'd never been camping before, so I was really excited.
What really sucked was that on the first night, a raccoon came and ate all our marshmallows. I was really looking forward to tasting roasted marshmallows! We bought some more later though, so it was no big deal.
Yesterday, we went to John Muir National Park, and looked at HUGE redwood trees, and plus we saw a couple of black-tailed deer. It was way fun! Afterwards, we went to the top of Mount Whatsisname and watched someone take off hang-gliding. It look both fun and scary at the same time!
Camping was really fun, and I just got back today! I'm really tired, but I just had to get on Gaia and type it all down. Knowing my dad, he'll probably make me write another journal entry about it. LoL.
Anyways, gotta run!
