The every ending tears,
that made a pool of sadness
Words that hurt like razor blades,
cutting deep into our skin
I watched it all happen before me

He yells in her face
She cries into her pillow
He turns off his cell phone,
when she is still waiting to get a call

he locks himself in a room
and tries to clam down
She continues to cry, heavily,
Uncontrollable
Falls asleep

The world seems silent and still
Friends worry about them,
the parents have no clue
that deep inside,
they scream for help
But it’s too late

Her dream becomes a nightmare,
of a darkness and depression
Where she is drowning in her pool of tears,
and sadly, never wakes up

He is torturing and clawing,
away at his own skin
Wanting to feel something,
even if its pain
Bleeding and bleeding all the blood he has
Till there is no more

I’ve watch this happen,
too many times to count
As I watch I realize,
if I don’t get away,
if I don’t get out
This very thing will happen to me.
