.... and I had to work, so I missed everything that went on before 21:30 (9:30 pm) ... culture-night.. and it begins in the morning [laughs]
I could have caught the ghost-house-show, but meh... didnt notice that it would close when I just finished working x.x).
But I we managed to find a place to park the car close to the city central (not too close, its just terrible trying to get back out of town when its all finished x.x).
All the streets were crowded with people (probibly 1/3 of all people living in Iceland, and tourists probibly), a mini-carnival infront of the main bus-station by the harbor (the heart of the city), You rarely ever see so many people in one place o.O! many roads closed. There was a concert on the harbor itself, and my mom bought a pepsi for me... she did not know that it did much the same as coca-cola <.< People might actually think I was drunk, after that lil can of pepsi whee It started to rain, it poured down, starting when the fireworks started....
Then the fireworks started 23:00 (11:00 pm), the main thing 4laugh everyone stayed to watch that, and when it was finished, everyone, I mean everyone went home.... everything was moving, though cars did not seem to be able to move. But we managed to get home in only an hour or two (it takes 20-30 minutes usually), I consider really short time if you think about how long it took last time x.x
Almost out of town, and a guy was walking on the road, along the line (the closest thing to a freeway, this was), I slowed slightly down, but then he just stepped right onto the road, I had to step on the breaks really hard, I still think I touched him (or his pants) with the car... and he just gave me the finger without looking when I honked at him o.o' ... it aint every day you almost drive a person down and he just '******** you, Im walking here' o.O...
Meh.. and then cames the prettiest part, when you actually get out of town, away from the lights, everything is black and the only thing you see is the road (and the moon, but everything else is black, cant even see the ground from the sky)
