Don't fly when I am planted, On this ground on which I stand. Don't soar up to the heavens When I am here on land. Don't run when I am weary, Just stay right by my side. Don't find a place where I can't be, And forsake me far behind. Don't lie still when I am moving Oh, please open your eyes. Don't die when I am living And leave me here to cry.
