First house
A mother, a father, and a child
The start of a new life
Second houe
Father's gone it's just us two
The end and the beginning
Third house
Mother's at work
Child's first day at school
Fourth house
Problem's with the babysitter
Time to leave time to move on
Fifth house
Living with her aunt and cousins
Walk to school together each day
Sixth house
Living with a different aunt
Brand new friends at school
Seventh house
New city new people
A stepfather and a half-sister
Eighth house
Another shell to fill
First home across the state line
Ninth house
Trouble from the past boils up
Time to leave, move, run, fast
Tenth house
We're safe for now
Till eyes begin to stray and stare
Eleventh house
They found out before
It's time to start anew
Another house
Or can we finally
Finally pull through?
Well this a poem that one of my teachers entered into a poetry contest. We had just finished reading Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (I think that's the author's first name O_o) and she wanted us to identify the cockroaches of our lifes. Then she made us write poems about the changes we've experienced. In short she called them our metamorphosis poems and mine was about all the houses I've ever lived in on account of how much I move around. I don't know why I won, frankly I thought it was too simple. I was one of 10 other winners at my school. We all won a $15.00 gift card from borders. Please leave comments and criticisms.

It's not really a specific thing. Sometimes I'll write about stuff that goes on in my life or poems I've written and managed to remember.
