There, youd forget all about Kira and the fact that hes killing criminals, and live in peace, just the both of you and nature. No more dark computer-rooms and investigations, even if only for one day Buuut, he knew his responsibility was too big to just quit on it now. You could always do all that later, right? But unfortunately, there never was a later.
