First off, this is not some stupid April Fool's Day joke.
I'm taking a possibly year-long hiatus from everything related to my computer. MapleStory, Gaia, Deviantart, Livejournal, AIM, MSN. Everything except for email and the occasional check of my Private Message inbox.
The reason? I can't continue doing this. I can't waste days doing nothing other than occasionally replying to roleplays and talking to some of my friends. My schoolwork could probably be twice as good if I didn't think about things that were going on here. Because of school and sports, I can't be on as much as need be. I checked my weight today, and within 6 months, I gained over 12 pounds. If I don't quit my online obsessions now, I may not be able to. Things can't go on like this.
I'm sorry to all the friends that I've made here, but I promise that I'll be back completely as soon as possible. This means whenever I either get to my goal weight or once I'm finally done with school. Until then, however, I'll only be checking my inbox every two weeks. If there are any urgencies (I need to reply to someone in a roleplay, someone wants to make a new thread/plot, or I need to do certain work), please do not hesitate to PM me, and I will get to it as soon as possible. But other than that, don't expect me to be in threads or to talk to many people over messengers.
I hope that everyone can be understanding of the situation. I'm truly sorry about this. If anyone has anything they'd like to work out with me, as I said before, PM me or even comment in this entry. I'll still be active enough to continue roleplaying my characters and take care of my responsibilities, but it'll be much more limited than it was before, when I had time to reply almost daily.
