The train
"Isabel, now remember, when we arrive to Dublin I want you to be as happy as you can, I mean, It's the first time you see the ocean!" says Isabel's mother as they were walking to the train station. "Of course i will be happy, mother!" ( sweatdrop )
"Don't make me that face young lady!, I know leaving Offaly will be hard, but you have to see the new perspects of life, sweetie! now change your face, such a pretty face you have ^^" The two women, Stephanie had 40, Isabel was only 10, both were carrying big suitcases, full of dresses and shoes, and finally they arrived to the train "number 805, hmm, yes! this is it, c'mon Dearie give your suitcase to the man in red too."Says Stephanie as she was giving her suitcase to the man in red. "sure." says Isabel.
"Ma'am, the train will leave in an hour, meanwhile you can sit in those benches, a bell will ring when the train is about to leave i'll store your baggage in the train." says the man in red with a smile on his face. "So, this is it mother, no more Offaly, no more ugly flat."Says Isabel.
"DING DING" goes the bell "(sigh)C'mon Isabel, time to leave."
The women get on the train, there were people of all ages, and all shapes, and colors.
Isabel was astonished, there was a man behind their seat with a little monkey on his laps, "E-excuse me s-sir, can- can I touch your creature?, I-I have never seen one before." Says Isabel, in a low voice. "Of course, laddy! his name is Chezi, I brought him from one of my trips to Peru, He's grown very attached to me." Says the man, he had a western hat, a big moustache and a really friendly face.
Isabel was really happy and curious, The man liked children a lot and answered all of Isabel's questions, She learned a lot from the world and about animals, The man's name was Edward, He was a biologist from North America.
He was going To Dublin as well, to make a research about marine animal's life, he was staying for about a year.
The trip was long, but time wasn't a worry for Isabel Talking to Edward was entertaining. But at times Edward falls asleep while talking, and Isabel laughs a lot.
As for Stephanie, she was reading a book, But falls asleep as well, Isabel had a great time in the train, it was first class and food was served often but Isabel liked the trip because of Edward & Chezi, The monkey was quite happy with its owner and climbed on Isabel sometimes, She was VERY happy.
