Hi! You are NOT ganna believe THIS!!
Today on Easter Monday, 2008 at 9:40ish p.m., I was watching the storm outside my house, under my verandah with my dog, Bella; a 9 year old boxer (because she was scared).
I just left my dog for at least 4 to 5 minutes, and I saw, with my own two blue eyes, a giant lightning-bolt that shot across the dark sky and lit up everything!
When I turned my head around to look at my house and shout-out that I just saw a huge lightning-bolt, I saw that my home had all of its lights out (which I know my mum and 6-year younger sister, Karly, had all of the lights on).
WE HAD A BLACK-OUT!!!
A few seconds later, the lights came back on. My mum was in the kitchen, looking, I think, shocked or stunned. I shouted out that I saw a huge bolt of white-light and my little sister came rushing out and looked with me for a few minutes.
I love heavy rain-storms...especially THUNDER-STORMS!!
