Ger boy shuddered. “Your mind, its so sensitive. There’s so much pain. I didn’t realize how broken up it was by the Bonding process and your resistance. Yes, your resistance was and still is incredible. I couldn’t read anything. Its… as though it is rearranging itself while its healing. Still, it explains why you didn’t want me inside your mind. Your thoughts are pretty raw and even the lightest touch is painful. Still, there is something very different happening here.”
-I wish he’d just taken my word for it.- I thought, whimpering.
“Did… you find anything… while you were causing me pain?”
“Not very much unfortunately. It may be due to the condition of your mind but the whole episode is a big blur though it seems to link with a strange dream you had before you were taken to my apartment.”
“Don’t ask me. I don’t understand either. Nggh.” I crawled slowly to my feet. “Now, if you’ll please excuse me… I might not be quite up to school yet but I do have siblings to rouse.”
