Hello and welcome
I did this storie today for tomrrows school home work..and since I'm very proud of it I'm just going to post it up on here.Hope yall enjoy it.

Granny’s house

As you walk into the tell over grown knee high length green sharp blades of grass on the flat land of my grandmothers lawn, spying over head you

can see this small little one story house. From the outside you can hear a high

pitched raspy voice of a old women shouting at her dogs over the loud TV inside

the small house. Thump, thump. Goes the loose river rocks of the porch as you

step onto them walking to the front screen door. Getting closer to the door, the

smell of nicotine reaches your nose as it pours out of the house like foul smelling

garbage. “Hello?” You may ask, through the door. It’s a 50/50 chance you may be

heard if the TV doesn’t over power you with its booming voices of court people

fighting for who is right and who is wrong. Reaching over for the rusty door handle

and tugging back the springs on the screen door scream with a loud screech and

BAM as the door quickly swings back once you let go of it to step inside the

house. “Woof, woof!” Two husky looking black dogs greet you with a deep

threatening boom as they wobble towards you fat from being well fed. “Hello my

dear!” Granny greets you a teeth showing smile, her teeth yellow. Her hair is the

color of gray like as if its about to rain but with a hint of white clouds under the

gray. Her face wrinkled from all the chain smoking all those years of her youth. But

her blue eyes tell a totally different story. A story of a women who loves to give

love to others. To see them smile with happiness and give before ever thinking

about herself first. “Hello Granny!” You greet back pushing past the big black

shadows of dogs. Clunk, clunk. Goes your feet as you march over to the untidy

kitchen to see what masterpiece the old women is cuncockting up. Even though the

smell of cigarette is strong, there is another smell that is much sweeter smelling

then the cigarette. And that is the small of Bacon and Eggs. “Mmm! Smells great

Granny.” You cheer her on as you watch her behind the kitchen counter. “Oh! I just

HAD a dying craving for Bacon and Eggs so I have made some. Would you like

some as well Sugar?” She peeks over her shoulder to look at you as she cooks

over the sizzling stove. It is best to decline since it may be awhile until you ever do

leave. “No thank you Granny. I just came to say hello.” You answer and all

honesty. “Well if you do ever feel hungry just tell me and I’ll whip you up

something.” She beams at you going back to her cooking. “Okay…” You half state

as you glance around the wooded house. Pictures of young and old relatives are

on the wall, some living some dead. But there is this one picture with a quote that

stands out the most. It hangs on the wall up above the kitchen counter, “A messy

kitchen is a happy kitchen.” It announces to you. A smile tugs at the ends of your

lips as you look back at her cooking away. If you stop to take a moment and slow

down, the thought of her, this house, the dogs, and her cooking are a wonderful

moment in time that will never be forgotten. All the sounds in the house drown out

as you let your heart take a quite picture to forever carry with you.
