Hellish nightmares, torn book seams
sudden deaths, frightening dreams
Held down darkness, opressing light
if light is the darkness, who do you smite?
Denying your fate, they hold you down
burdens are brought over, until you make no sound
'Sit there quietly,' spoken like ice
'you can't escape from here,' opressed with might
Hope dissapears, subtle but real
death is no longer your fear, but the final seal
You attempt to fall, the last of your choice
but someone heard your calls, and denied your fate
The light slowly softens, your burdens turn away
but new ones come often, all floating in your heart's tray
They are important to you, they know that as well
but will they come through, or without you they fell
Knowing it will bring you more pain, you ignore it in dismay
You greet them withs thoughts that you strain, knowing it will be okay
Child, you hold them dearest in your heart
Friends, protect this child that is burdened with this mark
Bless her memories, for as long as she is alive
Protect and live happy, stay well and thrive
