Hello, all! This is Sophie (aka NettikGirl) in the Big Apple. Haven't been here since I was two weeks old... eek
Well, it's not the most comfortable city, but it's pretty exciting. Central Park was like an oasis in that midst of the city. If I had my writing book, I would have loved to just lean against a tree, watch the squirrels and birds, and just write, while looking out towards the pond. (Pretty majestic.)
There was an "Alice in Wonderland" monument there, too. My Kingdom Hearts Fangirl mode briefly surfaced when I spotted the quote "And the Momeraths Outgrabe." (The Chershire Cat mentioned that during the game. Man, am I obsessed. That was only one line of the whole game, and I managed to pick that out. sweatdrop )
Well, it's all good. I'm in the apartment of the hotel, and am wishing to get back to Texas, then finally back to good old Sydney. Can't wait to be seeing everyone again. And there, I will focus on writing up my story. smile
