I should of gave updates sooner and then each one wouldn't be nearly as long but I'm gonna fit it all into one so please, bare with me and ENJOY TEH BOOK. XD I mean ride? o_O Ahh whatever you want it to be. DX
I guess I'll start with the most recent of news and work my way back to the info not shared since the last one. Now some stuff I'll forget and leave our or just figure its not all that worth sharing due to it being boring or what not. (Of course all of this might be to some of ya but oh well xD)
First thing is first *drumroll* . . . I FINALLY got my drivers license! Now to some ya might think this is not a big deal but to ME it is BECAUSE I had to wait 22 years to get it while the average person gets it from the age of 15-17. I TOO had the chance to get it at 15 but something went ary leaving me with no choice but to cancel my appointment. Then when I wanted to try again after moving a few more times since then, there was always something in my way. -__- No not being sarcastic. X.x
- Now to get this, first I took drivers ed which is 4 lessons, one per week and a lesson is 1 and a half hour long of driving behind the wheel on the ACTUAL road with REAL TRAFFIC. =o While the test itself, LOL literally you stay in a parking area, just a big circle and takes no more then 15 minutes if that do complete it. In order to do this, it cost me 325 but note in order to take the driving test I have to have my own car to use. If I want to use the drivers ed car that would cost an EXTRA 125$. Well I know most would be like '******** that' but ya gotta realize, to take the test and to PASS easier you want to be comfortable. So its use the same car you've already spent all this time in OR give even MORE time adjusting to another. Well I haven't decided yet what I wanted to do. Today was my last lesson, scheduled at 11am this morning but it was pushed a bit sooner upon my trainers request. WELL the odd thing is, due to what he did for me, the rest of my day got BUSY and FILLED with fortune events. To start out the lesson we practiced the driving test course, I did fine. Did this 2 times then parked and now we're outside the Drivers Burrow place and he says get out. I do but thinking 'wtf, why?'. Well to my surprise LOL he goes 'you're gonna take your test now'! I'm totally DID Not believe him. LOL well putting it short, it was his surprise gift to me, letting me go ahead and take the drivers test with the drivers ed car WITHOUT having to pay. Sooo all in all I got my license, free thanks to him and after that, got home the rest started. I got insurance for me and then got tags for my car leaving me now with a good working car AND able to drive it. (I'll take pics of it when I can)
Now my goal is to see how much I have left a month after insurance is paid, around how much is needed for gas and then decide if I can afford a cell phone. MIND you I don't make that much, I make almost 2$ less then my last job. ToT But still can't always win 'em all. >> Anyways, ya gotta remember I'm also STILL saving up to be able to get a place again and all that good junk so that I can have my OWN computer with internet, OWN room and all that s**t again instead of being here with my grandparents. True I get to be online but not nearly as much as I could if I was in my own place. I'd be on pretty much whenever I'm not working, while here work or not I usually can only get online for a little bit at night.
Now I'm sure some of you are confused and wondering how then am I able to make stuff again. Well I'll explain. I have my computer here with me and USB port drive that works like a floppy disk allowing me to transfer data from one computer to another. Soo this one, my grandpa's has the net I use to get the info and pics I need to do orders, save to that disk, then plug to my computer and ta'da I can make 'em then repeat the process to get them to here for you guys. ^^ If I had net to MY computer I could do a bit more easier but sadly I can't so I can't be on much when their up since they use it a lot off and on at random times, plus its uncomfortable for me. I'm most comfortable when they in bed. (its complicated here I know)
I'm doing good with my job at this point. Been there for a lil' over 2 months now. For those who was never told where I work or just forgot for the reminder, I work in Disney World here in Florida, MGM Studios to be precise. I work with merchandise, so yes i handle money at times. But it works on rotation so I'm not always on register which is nice, makes the day not as boring when get some variety to the task.
In short, with the time that I have I will try to be on a bit more once in awhile, I won't be on EVERY NIGHT due to either working late so am tired, just not in the mood or because I'm busy with other s**t OR went out. (yes i am getting some friends here - surprised? Good, me too)
But yar, I can take on small orders but not ready to take on normal emotes since they need to be re-vamped a bit and I want to add some new ones still. (the x-mas ones not count) I want to try to help return the favor again and visit my friends a bit to chat, catch up and bump their threads. Of course I can only do so many per time but I try to at least get one in. Right now, still missing some as it takes time to find them all. Dx All my bookmarks are on my computer. ToT
Anyways yeah, thats about the jist of what I do and how I can do stuff and such. Now being able to drive, I hope things go a bit smoother. Its such a pain in the a** having to ask someone take ya back and forth, you've no idea. DX
