They enter her house and Solicia guides Lavender to the couch. Setting hher down Solicia immediately goes to the kitchen.
"Are you thirsty?"
"Yes, I am."
"Anything you would like?"
"No. Just water, please."
"Alright."
Solicia gets a glass from the cupboard, drops in a few ice cubes and fills it with water. She then brings it Lavender and hands it her. Lavender takes it firmly with both hands. Bringing it up to her face she takes long sip. Finished with the water, Solicia takes the glass and sets it on the nearby table. They sit in silence for a few minutes.
"Do you mind if I ask what happened?"
"Huh?"
"Like, why were you passed out on the side of the road?"
"Uh... oh?"
Lavender stares out at nothing, partially fazed. Slowly a fog seems to clear up and her skin regains some of it's color.
"I had just arrived at Gaia when I noticed a weird event going on."
"Weird event?"
"People had transformed to vampires." stare
"Oh...that event." sweatdrop "So, what happened next?"
"Well, I didn't know what was going on because I'm new here."
"Wait! You're from one of the neighboring worlds?"
"Yes... Anyways, I stopped someone walking by to ask what was happening. He was kind enough to stop and answer my questions but the conversation was unusual. Well, apparently I intigued the man at being new to Gaia. Also, I was a little rude to him."
"Rude...?"
"He struck me as weird so I decided not to prolong the conversation." neutral
"Uh huh."
"So when I did that he stopped me and bit me on the neck. I realized to late he was a genuine vampire."
There is a small pause.
"So he bit you..."
"Yes..."
"And you passed out?"
"Yes."
"..."
"..."
"A genuine vampire... what do you mean genuine?" confused
"As in he was a vampire, probably, long before your event."
"Can you describe how he looked?"
"No, it was pretty dark."
"This could be bad. Real bad."
Both girls fall silent neither one sure of what to say next.
