So I think I got really tipsy after getting a good laugh today.
Today, Rachel-Dream invited Tokyo_pop_grl_xMishux, Goth the kittydemon, and
me to her Gaian house in the towns for a good chat. The night before, Rachel and I had a nice lovely chat, but today was a whole new game.
The whole day I had been online, vectoring and making graphics. Enchanted Kiss is about to open up, so I'm working like a madwoman. XD And also, I was looking for another job...because...well, yeah. XD!
Recently, my mornings have been Halotastic. I love, yes, and yes, I love Halo 3. My best friend Shadow is uber amazing at Halo, and he has super amazing stories about his kills and stuff. So, during one of our talks, one of his friends asks me if I have read the Galaxy Angel manga. And of course, I love Galaxy Angel. XD!
So his friend and I start talking about Galaxy Angel, and so Shadow was curious and got into the whole talk and stuff. In one of the talks, I told him about the character, Forte. She's the gun loving woman, and through our jokes and fun, we paired up Forte with Master Chief. XD!
In that, Shadow told me to draw something fun like that. So I'm like, "Okay! Sounds cool!" So, I started drawing this picture featurng a Forte x Master Chief pairing, and then Shadow raved over it, and I myself was quite proud of my drawing. So then, I realized that I could render it, jazz it up like I normally do with graphics. So, I start vectoring the image out. And let me just say that was very time consuming. I had to color the hair pixel by pixel because the wand couldn't get it all and then it'd look like a mess.
Either way though, I was quite intent on finishing it up. Besides, I'm quite proud of my image. Shadow was really happy with it too, and he has been watching and stuff and sticking around with me while I work on the thing. It's a little chellenging, but worth while.

[For some people this is quite easy. This was my first time, so I had to be careful and I was being the n00b and making the mistakes, but towards the middle I really was doing quite well. XD]
After people saw this picture, they magically began asking for custom art. XD! I'm like, "NOOOOOO." For Shadow, it's a whole different reason.
As for graphics, like I said, I spent my day making graphics.
So I made some awesome new layouts and I have been working on my DIVs and Tables. X3 I'm still learning how to play around with them since most of my previous graphics experiences have been nothing but avatars, signatures, and of course, wallpapers.
So for the day, I made my graphics, and got on with life. I then spent some of my time coloring more of Shadow's picture, which he got on to look on the status of and kept me company for a while with some awesome bits of his new story, and then I had the splashtacular chat with my three new best buddies. <3 [WE HAD SOME SERIOUS LAUGHS]
And suspiciously our love for Johnny Quest. XD!
And then Angel was online, and she wanted to see the status of my work and get some opinions.
And then I saw online a staff wanted sign, and I'm like, "Oohs, lemme see if I can apply." *applies*
And guess what? I met the lovely webmisstress Hondai today of hoshiru.net and she and I will be working on chinastune.net. <3 I cannot wait! <3

So yays, I had such a wonderful lovely time. I'm very pleased with my work and I'm quite surprised to see that it is welcomed so warmly by the people of the Graphics World. I'm even happier that I'll be part of a new site as well that shows so much growing potential. <3
