Kyo lay there in a tree outside the mist village thinking what he had missed in the three years he had missed. He wondered if any of his friends were still around, how much they had changed. After he got a head-ack from thinking so much he took his usual few hour naps.

Kyo was too deep in sleep to realize that someone was aproching him. Then Kyo felt a hand touch him, he payed no attention hopeing it would leave. The next thing he knew he was falling out of the tree, he landed face down in the grass. Kyo quckly jumped up and tried to pulled out his katana but it was missing. Kyo look up and found that a black haired girl was holding it.

The girl look about 13, had long black hair, and was wearing a komono. She had a mist village head band straped around her bag. And on her left arm was a tattoo of a skull. The last time Kyo had seen one of those was on the girls of her clan. Could she too be from the Kaguya.

"How the hell did you get my katana," Kyo asked angerly.

The girl looked confused,"This is mine," she replied.

Kyo took the katana looked fan found it not to be his. He looked around the tree and found it lodged into the tree's base. After he picked up his katana he introduced himself. He found out that her name was Rei Anbu.

After they talked for a few minutes he noticed a ninja sneaking up on them. When he got close enough he jumped and had the ninja at knife point from behind. The ninja quckly evaded. He eventualy broke Kyo's katana. Kyo didn't want to use his bones but he had no choice. He pulled out a sinal whip. He got a direct hit with the whip. He tightened it then he felt a enormous, sharp pain in his stomach. Everything went hazzy. Then everything went black.

He woke up several hours later in the hospital. He looked over to his right and saw the ninja he had fought. He must have done a number on him. He heard Rei's voicefrom the door ,"So how are you feeling?"

"Like crap," Kyo replied. Rei giggled a little.

"Who is that guy over there," pointing and the sleeping ninja.

"He told us his name was Kaji Uchi...something or other," Rei said.

Kyo went wide-eyed, "Kaji Uchiha?"

"Ya that's right," Rei replied. Kyo was skocked, he haden't seen Kaji in over three years. This had to be a dream, Kyo thought. Then Kyo fell asleep again.
