Autumn is here.
Its so different from Summer.
It has a smell
a taste
a feeling
a look
all its own.
It smells musty and beautiful.
Comforting and inviting.
It smells of pumpkin pie
of turkey
and of mashed potatoes.
Not like ham or corn on the cob.
Not like BBQ.
Not like freashly cut grass.
But like Thanksgiving
when all your relatives gather around
and you feast.
It tastes sweet
and spicy.
It doesn't taste like spicy BBQ
but more along the lines of spicy jaw breakers.
Sweet like the sweetness of sugar
and candy
and huggies
and caramel apples with nuts!
Not like sweetness of corn
or cake.
It has the feeling of running down a dark street
of being scared
of eating until you pop
and unfortunatally
of cavities.
Not of swimming until you look like a prune
or of beestings
or burns from fireworks.
The look is so colorful.
Reds.
Oranges.
Browns.
and Yellows.
All together.
Not all green.
Green grass.
Green Leaves.
Its just so unique!
Finally, my favorite season is here!
