Late at night i wish on the stars in the sky
I wish to grow wings and fly
Flyaway from reality
So i can find the real me
Oh why does reality haunt me?
Late at night i wish on the stars in the sky
I wish for a prince to take me away
Away to a kingdom unknown
Where there is no pain or longing
But will my prince come for me?
Late at night i wish on the stars in the sky
I wish to laugh and never cry of sadness
To laugh without worries and only cry of joy
Oh what joy that would bring
And to never again shed a tear of pain
Can such a dream come true?
Late at night i wish on the stars in the sky
I wish upon Venus and Mars
And then I slowly open my eyes
To find true happiness in the life I have
