6-9-06 Friday
We've been riding on planes all day! When we got here in Lanau, everyone was so excited. The views here in the rooms are fabulous. The hotel is great, and it's super fancy. Our room is right next to the pool, so we can go whenever we want. Here in Lanai, all the kids have to walk to school, and there's no Burger Kings, Wendys, McDonalds, Kmart, Office Max or anything like that. I SAW COWS! Cows are cool! xD Lanai is the perfect place to relax and have fun. I LOVE IT HERE!
6-10-06 Saturday
We had breakfast (which I got a bagel, of course), then went to the pool and the beach. The pool is heated and super warm. The jacuzzi is IN the pool! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! At the beach, the waves were super fun to ride! Ridin' the waves. xD They would lift me up, then wash me onto the beach like...a....crash survivor. Super FUN! At dinner, I almost fell asleep at the table! Jenna is screaming like hell for no reason, and I can't fall asleep! T-T
6-11-06 Sunday
Today wasn't my lucky day at all! I was attacked by a mossy rock and for the first time pooped on my a bird. (Some say it's lucky, right?) So, at first we went to Shipwreck beach (AKA, where I got attacked by a mossy rock). We went super far down the beach looking for petroglyphs but we didn't find any. We started heading back then noticed bees and hornets were swarming and blocking the way. Then we had to go around in the water and I was super tired already. On the way I tripped on a rock, turned and hit a rock, and fell on my ankle...on a rock. Those rocks just don't like me. After then, we went to the Garden of the Gods. We were driving through in the Jeep we got and I was putting my hand on the side of the window, picked it up and saw goo on it, and my leg, and on Alex's backpack. Guess what happened next? "EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! A BIRD POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPED ON MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" I used up all the wipes my mom gave me, and they all turned out brown. After than, I had had enough, and wanted to go back to the hotel, and so we did, thank the lord. Nobody would want to be me today, but at least Alex was there! xD
6-12-06 Monday
Surfing is SO fun. It feels so cool to be on a huge surfboard (compared to me) and riding the waves! Our instructor's name is Nick. (He was pretty hot! xD) I washed up on shore a lot, and fell off a lot, but I had a bunch of fun! We had solar powered showers! Nick left them out in the sun and the water heated up and we used them to wash off, and it felt good except when the water water hit my rashes. Tomorrow, Nick has to teach a 300 lb 40 year old how to surf. I feel bad for him! I can't wait to do that again!
6-13-06 Tuesday
Today we mostly stayed here at the hotel. Me, Jenna, and Alex went and rode the waves! The waves were huge and super fun to ride! Cory stayed inside ALL DAY, and so did Tara. They said they got too sunburned to go out today. It was fun but we didn't do much today. See ya!
6-14-06 Wednesday
This morning I had a bagel and went to the beach. After that, we went to the pool. Cory and Tara went horse back riding, but me, Alex, and Jenna went to the beach. Cory and Tara said horsebackriding was fun and the horses were calm but I'm still a little scared. Me and Alex had a lot of pizza today, but I still miss burger king! There aren't any on this island so I should probably forget about it. That was today!
6-15-06 Thursday
Today we went on a ferry to Maui. On the ride, Alex got a little quesy. We did a lot of shopping, and I got my parents an anniversary present but I can't say what it is right now because if I write it and my parents find my journal then it would spoil their gift. The only bad thing is their anniversary is August 1st, and I'm so anxious to see their faces when I give it to them! I also got a red bag and matching wallet and a really pretty pink necklace. On the ferry ride back neither of us felt as quesy. It was a fun shopping day!
6-16-06 Friday
Today was pretty much normal, but we saw Jennifer, Tina, Tony, Andy, Sandy, Aunt Janet, Jennifer's Fiancee, and Uncle Ed. We hung out by the pool and beach. I got eaten by a huge wave and only Alex and my parents cared, of course. Alex ran up to me and helped me get out before another huge wave at me. After that my mom and dad hugged me and we played in the sand. (Like little kids! xD) It was a crazy but fun day.
6-17-06 Saturday
This morning me, Alex, and MOm went horseback riding. I got Jody, Mom got Dallas, and Alex got Wyono. When Cory and Tara went, Cory got Jody and Tara got Wyono. I guess Dallas if for adults. Afterwards, we were real sore, especially my BUTT. When we got back, we went swimming. I LOVE THE BEACH HERE!
6-18-06 Sunday
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We're leaving today! I sorta can't wait but now that we are in the plane I finally want to be home. I got BURGER KING! My dad said we might come back and I definitely want to. Here I am in the plane, watching the edn of the Pink Panther. Earlier today when Me and alex were packing, Jenna was making really rude 'remarks' that nobody needed to hear. I mean REALLY rude. Almost home!
