I know, I know.
I didn't finish the other series.
But I think i'll be writing two series.
Since one doesn't seem to fit Maple Story,
I'll be making one for Maple Story. :]
[I know, I'm a Mapling Freak. ><;;]
So, in this series.
Two young thieves will meet...
Their frienship growing stronger every year.
One day, they had to split up...
The boy is being sent to an island called Orbis.
The young girl is being diciplined in Omega Sector.
Before they left each other, they both promised...
They'll one day, meet again.
Ohs, and the maple movie version of this series will take a while.
Since... XD I'm not a very high lvl to wear those clothes.
[LOLS Only lvl 36 right now.]
So it'll take a while, because i'll be saving my allowances to get NX for the movie.
So... I guess i'll be making the movie... next year?
I guess thats enough time to write the whole series and edit everything.
And also hunt down cast members. XDD
Another thing....
[>>;; I know.. I know. This girl better stops talking...]
The series will change point of views.
So yeah. XD
Oks, and...
ACTION!
[~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~]
In the middle of a city called Kerning City, there lived a young girl... Her name is Mika, but she likes to be called Jean. Her thief and middle name.
~Mika's point of view.~
"Mommy! When are we going camping in Henesys again?!" I asked my young beautiful mother. She was looking out the window, waiting for father to come home.
"I'm not sure Mika dear. But we'll ask your father once he arrives home." She turned around, and gave me a warm smile. I couldn't help but to grin back. Heck, I was 9, how was I suppose to be? Stupid and weird? Nawh, not me. I am currently a young thief, I just started as a Rougue a few weeks ago. It's not that easy to become an Assassin. I swear, my piggie bank is running low everytime I recharge my throwing stars. My mother and father recommended putting me in a camp to train more, which, they supply your stars, uniforms... ect. But I didn't want to, ever since I met this one boy in the market place. His name is Rin. We didn't like each other at first, because he made fun of my short tom-boy-like hair. So I threw one of my stars at him, and it snipped a few strands of his dark hair. I have no idea how we became friends at the end, but I would like to see him again. Since, I don't have much friends. The only friend I have is Hana, shes an Archer though, living in Henesys. I visited her a couple days ago, to camp with my family and hers.
"Oh, mom, can I go get that potion from the pharmacist? I forgot to remind you earlier..." My mother sighed, I always forget these important things, so it takes alot of our time to walk back and forth to the stores.
"Okays, you can go by yourself. But make sure you bring your weapons. I don't want you to get captured by those bandits." I also sighed, and grabbed my bag.
"Alright mom, I'll be careful." My mom always had these grudges over bandits. Maybe thats why she wanted me to become an Assassin so badly. She use to be one too, but shes now a higher Assassin, Hermit. My father is a Ranger, aka Hunter. Thats how i met Hana, because my father knows Hana's father from Archer training. Anyways, as I walk down the heavy alley ways, I sensed someone following me... Cautious, I pulled out my stars, just in case that blunt-bag started attacking. I could tell the person almosted tripped on the trash that layed almost everywhere.
"If you're trying to stalk me, or surprise attack me... It's not working." I couldn't help but say that aloud, I mean... C'mon, i'm just going to the pharmacist to get more potions, and hes making a very bad thief impression.
"Of course I am! You're not suppose to see me, thats the point!" He tried hard to make that a low ghost like whisper sound. His voice sounded familiar... Very familiar actually...
"Then... Why can i see you're wearing blue?"
"Thats because... uh... Dang darksight!" He tried running passed me, but I grabbed him by his cape.
"Wait... Do you know a person named Rin by any chance?" What? I was curious and desperate. The alley ways isn't a walk in the park yah know.
"How'd you know my name? You aren't a mage, are you?!" I felt him try to get away from my grasp.
"Just calm down... It's me, Mika."
"Mika? Really? Are you sure?!" He was really annoying me now... Rins always like that, asking questions that he already know that it's true.
"Ugh.. Yes."
"PROVE IT!" Oh boy...
"How?"
"What star did you use to snip my hair off?"
"Uhh... Kumbi."
"Hi Mika. Oh, and can you let go of me? Thanks." I let go of him, and smiled.
"Rin, why are you in Kerning City?"
"Ohs, I live in Kerning City." He looked at me like I was a crazy person on drugs. "I'm suppose to ask YOU that question. Why are you here?"
"Didn't i tell you I lived here?"
"You told me you lived in Kerning, but not in an alley way..." His eyes looked shocked.
"Ughh, no. I'm here to go get my potions at the pharmacists."
"Ohhs. Okays. Want me to go with you? Theres Assassins everywhere..." Uh, yeah. About that. His family is from the bandit side. His parents don't trust Assassins... Plfft, typical.
"Yeah, sure!" I grabbed his hand and ran to the pharmacist's office.
After we got the potions, I thanked him, and we went our seperate ways. But before he disappeared from sight, I yelled out...
"Wait! Wanna train with me tomorrow?" He turned around, stunned at first, but grinned happily and gave me a thumbs up. I nodded and waved, running my way home after.
~End of Mika's point of view.~
Days and weeks passed, and almost every day, Rin and Mika would meet up at the 3-way Split Road to train with Mika's archer friend, Hana. They trained and trained like crazy. But that didn't mean they didn't have fun. One day Hana brought some cake, which... ended up on Rin's face. They were the best of pals, but one day, Hana was being sent to a training camp. Her relatives owned it, so she had to go... The camp was called "Omega Sector Diciplining Camp.' The one Mika was about to go to. Mika and Rin was devastated that their other pal was leaving them... But it was no choice. The three exchanged gifts and promises they'll meet again another day. Sometimes visiting... sometimes never.
Two years passed, Rin had already became a bandit. Of course, Mika's parents disapproved Mika of befriending a bandit. She didn't care, but on the day she became an Assassin, one change... changed everything...
~Mika's Point of View~
"Omygosh ohmygawdd!!! I'm gonna be an assassin! I'm gonna be an assassin! YHAYY!!!!" I couldn't help letting myself out. Just turning 11 was the best day of my life, but becoming an Assassin the next day is another best thing! I was sitting on the rooftop of Kerning's hospital with Rin. He was telling me about the basics of the tests. Rin, laughed at my reaction for the test. He was hoping I would hate being an Assasin, and turn into a bandit. This is him now:

"Ahahaha, goodluck..." I hugged him, most people our age would've blushed, but Rin was like my older brother whom I never had. He was 12, I was 11. Very long distance from each other to love... But secretly... I-
"MIKA!!! HURRY UP! YOUR TEST WILL START SOON!" My father screeched from below, he was holding a package... Must be my new uni-form. I didn't have time to think of what I just thought i was thinking about.
"Again, goodluck Mika. And don't hesitate to become a bandit..." He ruffled my hair and jumped off. I jumped down below to my father and took the package from him.
"Hurry and get into it, your test would start in 10 minutes." My father shooed me off. I skipped off home.
~End of Mika's POV.~
Mika got dressed into the new clothes... She admired how it fitted on her. Putting on her headbanned she looked like this:

Once she went to the test office she was immediately sent in.
"Wow... Very nice timing..."
During the whole test.. Things were going through smoothly. Almost every kill, she obtained a dark marble. It was fun to gather and kill these monsters. While she was killing to get her last marble, she accidently over-heard what the bandit and assassin leaders were saying...
"Shes remarkable..."
"Thats because her father is an archer, archers have high accuracy."
"Shes taking alot of damage though."
"Archers take lots of damage too."
"But then again, look at her speed and avoidability!"
"Her mother's side, I'm thinking."
"She could be the one we're looking for."
"Nawh, shes a bit young though."
"But think about it, training like this at a young age could possibly lead her into success."
"I guess you're right... What camp is she going to then?"
"Well, I heard shes friends with a bandit, no offense to you though. Her parents want her away from him. So the Rin boy is going to a special prodigy camp for bandits. Orbis. Omega Sector is where she should go, since her father is also an archer. She must get put in to make her accuracy higher."
"What about the assassin ways? Shes becoming an assassin, I'm sure..."
"Theres a few other assassins are there as well, they'll help her."
Mika was abstrucked... Her? Leaving? To... To Omega Sector?! Impossible... And... Shes leaving... Rin. Tears started flowing in her eyes as she picked up the last of the thirty marbles.
"No..." She whispered to herself, but deep in herself, she knew she had to. As she finally reached the top of the building, the Thief instructor gave her a note that was to be handed to the Dark Lord.
When she got there, everyone was waiting for her. Her mother hugged her, her father relaxed in satisfication. And Rin... He was happy... yet there on his face... was a face of sorrow.
'He knows..' She thought to herself.
After Mika had went through the ceremonial welcome of a new Assassin, Rin gestured her out of the crowd, and out onto the balcony.
~Mika's POV~
"I heard you're leaving to Omega..."
"I heard you're being sent to Orbis..." I looked at him in the eye. He didn't look back.
"Atleast you have a friend there..."
"Hana... I know." I miss Hana so much... I really want to go to the camp with her, but I don't know what to do about Rin.
"Mika, theres something you should know..."
"Hmm?" He sighed and leaned on the railings of the balcony.
"I... I... L-"
"HEY HEY YOU YOU!!~!~@!@!@!!@!@!!!!!" Someone had accidently turned on the radio a bit too loud... So I couldn't hear what Rin was saying... Once the song faded into a normal sound wave. I asked Rin...
"I'm sorry Rin, I couldn't hear you... Um, can you repeat it?..." I felt guilty now, since he looked like he didn't want to say it again.
"What I was saying was..." He paused... It seemed like he was thinking really hard... "I want the best of luck for you... And promise me... We'll meet again?"
"Of course! I wouldn't want to forget you!"
"What if you will?"
"Then I would... uh... Well, that'll never happen!" I smiled at him, but he didn't smiled back. "Rin... Are you okay...?"
"Oh, it's nothing. But just promise me this one thing."
"Anything."
"That'll you'll love no one..."
"Urm.. Okays." I gave him a weird look. Love? Oh Rin. I wish you knew I loved you... And only you. No one else.
"Well, I guess this is our final goodbye?"
"Goodbye? Why?" My eyes turned frantic. "What do you mean?!"
"I'm... leaving... today. Right now."
"NO! Rin! You never told me!" There was a loud bell ringing some distance away. "Rin! Please stay for a while longer! Please?!"
"I'm sorry... Mika. But I have to." He turned around... and walk away... Down the stairs... Out into the sidewalks.
"RINN!!!!!!" I screamed my lungs out, pleaded... cried... He didn't turn back around.
~Rin's POV~
'Mika... I'm sorry.' I wanted the best for Mika. I told her I loved her, but she didn't hear me. So... I recovered and made an excuse. Mika, when will I have the guts to finally tell you that I love you?
And so... I walked off, not looking back... Not showing her my tears.
~End Of Part 1 Of: Promises.~
Anyways, hope you all like it! mrgreen
