InuYasha ran up to us. "Back up, Kagome!" he called. "WIND SCAR!" he cried. KAgura neatly dodged it, then said "You might want to be a little more careful, InuYasha." He sneered. "Oh yeah? And why should I?" he asked. Kagura wordlessly pointed over to the edge of the trees. A very pretty black haired woman was laying there, looking exhausted, trying to stand up. InuYasha gasped. "Kikyo!" he cried. Just then Kagura took that opening to hit Kagome. She went flying into a pile of wood. InuYasha ran over to her, looking torn. "Are you o.k.? he whispered. She nodded. I looked up at Kagura. "You did this on puropse!" I cried, and ran over to InuYAsha and Kagome. Kagome looked pretty bad. I began to heal her. "thanks." she said. Then she turned to InuYasha. "You can go after her, if you want." she whispered, avoiding his eyes. InuYasha looked over at Kikyo, who was getting away. Then he turned to Kagome. "I won't leave you." his voice sounded strained. The words were out of my mouth before I could even think. "Lair!" InuYasha turned to me, his eyes furious. "What?!" I stared at him. "You want to go to Kikyo and you know it." I said bitterly. "DO NOT!" he cried. I nodded, then sighed. "Yeah, you do. You'd leave Kagome in a second and you know it." I said, angrly. "Personally, I think its wrong. Its a discrace." I didn't expect him to do what he did next.
He punched me in the gut. Hard. I doubled over, and Kagome gasped. InuYasha stared at me with hatred. Then he turned to Kagome. "I'm sorry." he said to her, and ran off. Kagome sat up. "Bella...." she tried to find words that clearly weren't comming. I couldn't move. I actually FELT his hatred of me in my stomach. I felt myself glowing, black as midnight. I made myself get up and turned to Kagura. "You're....going...to....DIE!" I roared, running to her. I shot a Dark Orb at her, and it hit directly. She didn't expect it. I went in again and again. Finally, she couldn't evade me, so she flew away on her feather....thingy. I gasped, feeling a sudden pain in my chest. And I don't think that it had anything to do with the fight I just had. Sango ran over to me and led me to an un-harmed area. Looking around, I saw Miroku, Shippo, Kagome, and some villagers. I noticed that InuYasha wasn't there. I must have made a noise then, because Sango looked worridely at me. "Bella, is something wrong?" Sudden'y I felt the pain in m gut from the ounch again. I groaned, falling to the ground. Sango looked alarmed. "BELLA?" I don't know why, but I started crying then. But I tried to talk at the same time. "Inu....Yasha.....he ran off.....after......kik-ki-..." why couldn't I say her name??? Kgaome finished for me. "kikyo." she said. I nodded, then started crying again. Kagome told Sango what I said to him, and that he punched me. "I shouldn't have said that, but I couldn't help it. I HATE ki-ki...I can't get her name out." I said at last. Kagome looked suprised. "YOU don't like Kikyo?" she asked. I nodded. "Ever since I knew about you all, I've been rooting for YOU and InuYasha. NOT....ki..ki" I couldn't finish. "Kikyo." Kagome finished, blushing. I nodded. I looked around. "InuYasha won't be back for awhile." I said, getting comfterable. "We have a lot of time until he does. ....he's such an idiot." and with that, I resumed to my feeble position; knees pulled up to my face, my face in my arms, bawling my eyes out.
