[GUYS point of view]




As the new day dawns, I lift my head to regard what is around me here at the edge of dawn, Twilight's edge. With you in my arms, we lay beneath the canopy of a willow tree, forever-locked in love. Once separated by a dream, now never to be separated again. For now you sleep as I watch before my eyes two lovers forever living a waking dream at the edge of dreams. Holding you in my arms, I smile gently waiting for your eyes to open. Lightly I kiss your cheek just as dawn's first light encroaches upon us. Resting here on a bed of clover under the willow tree I wait for you to awaken.

Slowly the sun rises, its arms reaching out and touches your skin in gentle waves of caresses. As the hands of the rays move upon your body, it casts your form into a tracing glow. I look on enraptured as your skin beams with joy at the touch of the kind hearted sun. Slowly you stir, your eyes sensitively blinking as you rub the night away from them. No words can describe the burning fire you started and add to within my heart. Smiling softly your eyes look to mine and send my heart over the edge yet again as if it was the first time I saw them. Gazing into my heart with love and admiration I can only look back the same, as I am helpless at your touch and eyes. My heart melts once more that same way the very day I first saw you reaching out to me. Falling all over again into the abyss of love you drove me into. I place my arms about you tenderly as you lay your head to my shoulder, your hair cascading about your bare back and shoulders.

Your head turns slightly. Trailing your cool gaze about as I hear you lips let a sigh escape. Your eyes seem to light up and though I cannot see them I know why. Your gaze now sees why I sit here beneath the willow at the water edge. Them pools of cool blue dance about, the calm mirror of the clear water casting the rays of the sun in a dazzling display of directions. The underside of the canopy lights up. Flowers blanket the floor of our home; every where your eyes wander a rainbow of delight greets your eyes. A yellow here a blue there, then slowly a red finds its mark in the light. Each flower tall and proud in its placement as the colors blend and scatter. Your arms move to hold me closer as a tear falls from your eye. My hand moves slowly to your tender cheek, only to slide to your chin and lift your gaze to mine. The water below illuminating your face in a gentle glow that sets your tears off like diamonds as the morning dew upon the grass and flowers. I kiss them slowly from your face. A tear falls from my eyes as you wipe it away tenderly. Words will never be able to show the sight I see before my eyes, but one in love would know what I see right away without the need for words. My arms embrace you gently. My hands run though your hair, my fingers dance across your bare back, my lips curl into a smile as my eyes close gently kissing your cheek.

As you lay bare upon me, my heart skips a beat. Finally so close together after so far apart, our hearts feel as if they beat as one. Your lips move and seek mine stopping my heart. Holding you closer, your hair cascades about us both. The feel sending my love to depths unknown. The passion of your touch, the addicting poison of my being, leads to the salvation of our freedom, Freedom from our pains of being alone. The same pain we pulled each other from. The same pull that brought us from the pits of depression saved us both. Forever my love is entwined with yours.

As the kiss slowly breaks, a smile plays across my lips as mirth dances though my eyes. You lay your head upon my shoulder snuggling with your own thoughts and whims. My arms hold you delicately, my hand resting upon your hip. My own thoughts turn to the eternities past that I've lived alone, but as I look to you, I now cherish each moment as if I spent all those eternities with you.
