FOMG! I WENT PAINTBALLING!!
btw... I am not trying to be egotistical, i just don't know what anyone else did because i was too busy with what i was doing

It was a friends 16th birthday on Friday and his dad paid for him and a group of 14 friends to go paintballing on the saturday.

So we all met up on saturday morning and took the train to where the paintballing place was, long train journey just spent talking to the people I hadn't met before or exagerating how much paintballs hurt to the people who had never done it before razz

We got mixed with another grouple and split into two teams when we arrived, yellow and purple, I was on purple.
After putting on the kit we where given, black boiler suits and protective masks, we headed off into the paintball areas.

There where 6 different areas you played two rounds in each, different areas had different things in, some had wooden huts, some just barricades and barrles.

The first area we played in had a small "aztec" pyramid in the middle with 1 entrance on each side. To win, your team had to have at least one player inside the pyramid at the end of the round, my team lost the first round, but we won the second when one of my mates heroically/melodramaticaly ran screaming into the pyramid blocking the enemy fire so i could run in and hide in a side passage.

The second area was made out of 5 huts a tall watchtower, barrles and other baricades. You got 2 points for every hut you had a man in at the end of the round and an extra 2 points if you had all the huts.
My team captured all 5 huts on both rounds, completely kicking a**.

The teams where then switched around a bit due to the Yellows getting royaly rumped and haped.

3rd match was the dreaded speedball, an small open area with no trees and only short barrles for cover. Last man standing.
Speedball is dreaded because all the wimps in your team will hide behind the first sets of barrles and not push forwards being totaly usless and wasting all their ammo on long range shots.
You have a really high chance of getting shot in the head when you look around barrles, which ******** hurts. (Headshot don't count though so you can keep playing)
The first round of speedball was a draw, because too few would leave the first set of barrles. My team scored a point anyway though, because someone ran full sprint down the entire area firing madly and getting shot to peices. The marshalls thought that was brilliant so they gave us a point.
The second round was won by us. I got very far across the area, manged to sneak up on lots of people by running and diving between the barrles.
I eventually got shot though because some dickhead spectator told this guy when i was reloading, so he knew when it was safe to run the distace and shoot me.

Lunch... mmm BBQ. Also bough a few smokes and paint grenades during the break.

4th match was in an area with lots of barricades and 5 old vans with the doors missing. One team had to defend their commander for the first 1min inside the vans, (commander was a team member wearing a red jacket and had their gun taken) then after the first min get the commander to one of the two enemy bases.
This round was very very fun, mainly because a guy called Tony had smuggled in the homemade smoke bombs that he and I made a while back. Much better than the ones you could buy there biggrin and we had alot of them.
They made very thick white smoke, which we used to our advantage while escaping the vans. The smoke was so thick that we all kept tripping over and ended up going in the wrong direction a few times.
We won both rounds biggrin 2nd round was won when i threw a paint grenade into the van with their commander in.

5th match was capture the flag.
There was an old double decker bus in this area, on the top floor there was one "bomb" that you had to take to the enemy base.
I got my best killing spree in this match, when a team mate went into the bus i snuck around the back and found two enemys with their backs to me camping the exit to the bus. I shot them and moved further round the bus only to find that i was behind two more enemy who when hiding behind some barrles. After shooting them, I moved to where they where and had some good shots and a group some distance away, i know i hit atleast one of them before i ran out of ammo. Someone from my team got the bomb to the enemy base shortly after then smile
In the second round i ditched my gun because i had no ammo and ran straight into the bus for the bomb and was gone before the enemy team got anywhere near. Unfortuantly i got shot when i tryed to just run straight into their base but a teammate finished the job and won us the round.

I didn't play the 6th match because i didn't want to waste money buying paint for one match, quite a few others from both teams had to drop out too, but my team both won both rounds again anyway razz

Due to my teams constant ownage of the yellow team we came 1st overall out of all the 12 teams that where there that day.

The train ride back home was alot more fun than the way up, even though we all stank of s**t from the horrible mud from the paintball place.
We got into a deodrant fight with some totaly strangers after they said we smelled.

There was then a mooning battle between the carriages against some other strangers who had been paintballing aswell that day. One of us did a handstand while mooning, which was highly hillarious.

When we finaly got off the train someone threw a smoke grenade through one of the windows of the train into the carraige of the people who had been mooning back at us... not too bright an idea, suprised we didn't get in trouble for that. It would have filled the entire carraige with yellow smoke that really isn't cool to breath.

Looking back at it the grendade through the window was kind of funny, but at the time most of us thought it was a really s**t idea and where scared of getting told off because of whoever did it.
