Sometimes the water beckons to me
It calls for my body to jump in and swim away
But what would happen if I left?
Would all of my memories stay?
Or would new ones take form?
How long would I be lost in this storm?
Day in and day out
Would I mope about?
Sometimes the land beckons to me

But what would happen if I returned?
