Bonjour, amis! <3

I've been so tired lately, and I don't know why. Whenever I wake up, for some reason, my entire body aches and I can't stay awake. Ugh. I want to crawl back into m'little bed and rest for the whole day. *headdesk* *drools on desk*

Anyway, Lauren slept over on Friday night. T'was fun. Lizzie couldn't come over, so I asked her if she would be sad if I invited someone else. She said no, she wouldn't; so I invited someone else, and promised her an invite for this week. <3

Isabel got a pair of Etnies. xD They look so cute on her. They're pink and they light up and she's just so excited. They really are some beautiful shoes.

The Odyssey is going great; I just finished Book X. Except, for the past two chapters, all that's been happening is Odysseus recalling his past. C'mon, talk faster! D: Stop explaining crap. Get to the action, Odysseus. C'mon.

As some of you *cough*Enj*cough* might be pleased to know, I'm taking a summer course at the local community college for French for beginners.

It's not as difficult as I thought it would be; since I'm fluent in Spanish, it's not so hard to think of a noun having a feminine or masculine orientation (la fille, el fils, etc.), and it's not so hard to think of the fact that addressing someone can be informal or formal. For example, in Spanish, when addressing an elder or someone deserving of great respect, one would address them as "usted" instead of "tu"; same goes with French, "vous" versus "tu".

I don't know. I'm just glad that I also speak Spanish, so that I can look at the similarities; it isn't as alien to me. ^______^ Yay!

The only weird part about French is pronounciation versus spelling. Pssh. C'mon. Every time I see a word written in French, I try to pronounce it without sounding like a total newb. *is a total newb at French and only had a vocabulary consisting of five words before this Friday*

I'm so glad the book came with CDs to be able to follow along in the pronounciation and listen to cute French music while you do the exercises in the book. xD

But, yeah. French is a beautiful language. I just wish I could master it faster. Ack, patience. Where are you when I need you? ._____.U

I'm ... starving.
Ack.

Au revoir, Gaia! <3
