Everyday brings a new tommorrow! So why not share it with everyone!
Ryuu-san and the dying flame
Ryuu-san's agony lasted longer than he expected. Words could not heal, but rather they only made situations worse for the dragon. Off in the distance he heard that familiar giggle of which the spirit always used. He knew he could not avoid another meeting with the spirit, so he sat there waiting for his heartache to arrive.

"I am here spirit, there is no need to search for me." sighed the tired dragon.

The spirit appeared mysteriously much like the other time. He did not know who the spirit was nor did he know what connection it had with his problems.

"Look at the lifeless dragon." teased the spirit. "Really, I did not mean to harm you the last time we met." of course he found this highly unlikely. "What I really meant to bring to you was an explanation of what I wished to see. It would have been great to see you thrive, Ryuu-san."

Though it seemed like these were words of support, they were in truth sharp as glass, and peirced his heart by reminding him of what a fool he was. He had lost the will to move on. His flame was dying inside, and his wings could no longer seem to carry him. It is a sad sight indeed when a dragon loses these mystical traits.

"Alas, it was predicted in the stars. The spirits could forsee this, and thus we must let things be the way they are to be." it sat in the sky and put on a face only that of a scholar would wear. "Well then, did you learn your lesson?"

Ryuu-san's eyes lit with fire. He could not believe his ears. "Did I learn my lesson?!" he yelled. "I don't think you seem to understand, spirit. I am not the villain here! There is no lesson to be learned out of a misunderstanding from the opposition." he turned his back so as to calm himself. "Everyone seems to be against me... For I am the being in the sky, which is hard enough to believe. Hebi-san is down to earth, and people listen to her... they choose her side for being compassionate, and claims that I am the one who condoned the wrong act." he then hung his head in shame, "no one is to believe me... for I am a dragon that lives amongst common animals."

The spirit was taken aback from Ryuu-san's explosion. It gave a small smirk while half honestly saying, "Sorry..."

The air was thick... the silence was the loudest sound between the two. Ryuu-san did not wish to speak anymore... For he knew that he was now branded as the culprit in this sad story. There was no equivalent fault from what he understood. Such a fool he was.

"I was looking forward to you staying on the earth." squeeked the spirit to break th silence. "It was very much so a sad observation, to witness what happened..." Again, the sincere words were shards of glass in disguise. "I observed what happened, and why... and even appeared before Hebi-san to question her, and thus I was disapointed to hear what was the cause."

He couldn't help but assume that this cause was that of which opposed his version. Why else would the spirit come to him. He figured the spirit too was on Hebi-san's side, and was only there to defend her. He had lost, and situations only seemed to only grow worse as time progressed.

"Do not be offended this time around, dragon." spoke the spirit quietly, "I am truthfully sorry..." With that it vanished once more.

"Sorry does not turn back time... nor does it bring back the flame which has died." He felt lifeless once more. He used his remaining strength to return to the sky... hidden from those who despised him.
