We start summer vacation in one and a half days! gonk Finally! This week has been dragging on...
I'm kind of scared to start high school next year. Not because I'm afraid I'll get lost or anything. xd But because I'm taking two honors classes. I heard the honors English teacher gives 45 minutes of homework every night. I also have a summer assignment for that class. I have to read Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck and Oliver Twist by Charles Dickinson. The projects are going to be worth 750 points total, even before school starts.
I'm feeling just a little stressed over it. (and by a little, I mean a lot!)
The papers are considered formal writing, so I can't use contractions in it.
(I have used 5 contractions in this entry, just in case you're wondering)
Speaking of getting lost in High School... ugh gonk I only know where the chorus room, main office, and auditorium is. (excuse me, "performing arts center" wink I'm definitely going to get lost.
When we went to the high school to tour it, our tour sucked. Our middle school tour in 5th grade was longer than that. They were just like "here's this, this, and this. okay we're done. any questions?" We ate lunch at the HS, too. Appearently they're supposed to charge you extra for the dressing packets, but the lady didn't. xp
Fortunately, I get on the bus later. Only by 10 or 15 minutes, but still... It's better than getting on the bus at freaking 6:30.
I found a heart-shaped rock when I went to our state park on a field trip monday. biggrin Yeah, that's really random.
