I remember I got one of those bumping brown chests... I used to get a lot of special events back in the day. At least one every week.
The first time I got one, I didn't know what it was. When I opened it there was a nice spiky collar in it. When I learned how valuable it was, I decided to keep it... and I did for a long time. Until I switched it for a lether collar with cross.
The one Althena now has. Panda was the one who convinced me to do the switch, but in all honesty, he was right. It didn't match my personality.
