I got a gold medal for the National Mythology Exam today, and I got a letter saying that one of my short stories was put into this award- winning literature magazine our High School has.

Personally, I thought that story was absolutely horrible but it was apparently pretty good... I just think I could've done so much better than that.
OH! And I found this cool quote in Latin today, from a Greek Epicurus (even though I'm not sure what that is, exactly...)

Gah, I don't even know if that's right- I wrote it on my hand and it's totally faded now, but I thought I could include it in my story somehow.
