Ironic Pain

That look in your eyes,
That glance of hatred.
They gaze so deep inside my eyes,
Reading my every thought as suffer,
watching you my love with eyes that burn like hell,
watching your very soul being eaten away.
Is that why heart aches so?
I wonder where all of our gracious memories had vanished,
As time goes by what happened to you and me?

But yet the thought of you hating me,
sent chills down my back.
And while the very words that escaped you lips taunted and killed my very soul.

What did I do to deserve this irony?
I need,
Because...I love you,
I don't want to let go of you,
Just not yet...

So I ask Why do I have to endure this pain?
The pain you have given to me,
which hurts so much,
and now this heart of mine still has not healed from this tragdy.

So this pain still rushes through me,
as you strike me continuously.
Yet why do I deserve this torment?
Don't you love me anymore?!
