The unintentional outcome of this was some sort of Scottish revolutionary noblewoman. Once again, inspired by the latest doings of Picolitrosso's Urn. This is all brought together by the Blue Scott Hat, without which not only is the avi scattered and unfocused, but somehow balances the Velvet Cloak, which otherwise looks oddly bereft. Once again, it's the arm position that really brings it all together, and tektek just can't capture that.

This is my cosplay of the eponymous Highwayman of Alfred Noyes' poem. The Highwayman was the first tragedy I actually liked. Maybe because it was the first I read when I was old enough to accept that not everything ends happily, but be that as it may. Obviously, not perfect, but I think it captures the essence of both the poem and the character, who I once had a very vivid dream about. His name was Oliver, and I was Bess' little sister, a clairvoyant. The redcoats came back to the inn a year later, and we killed them.

I call this my Poe Girl. I realized that I hadn't yet taken advantage of the awesome red gown in the latest evolution of my Enchanted Book and tried to mix it with the new flirty mask thingy of Picolitrosso's Urn. That worked out OK, but I like this way better. As usual, tektek has screwed up the posing, so just try to imagine the Holly Candle held in her other hand.

I believe I've done variants on this theme, but this particular incarnation seems to be the epitome. It's *very* loosely based on Phillip Pullman's Lyra Belacqua (just typing her name flows). Kind of my OC for the world of The Golden Compass. Speaking of which, as per usual, try to imagine her holding the book open like she's trying to interpret the alethiometer. And the little red panda or whatever is, of course, her daemon. I went through pretty much every "animal" pose available to me right now, and this one worked the best. The rest is just basic Victorian/Pullmanian travelling garb.
Oddly enough, she also reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle's Sophie. Maybe it's the hat/braid/shoes combo.

I think this one started out as an Elf, and a harem girl worked her way in, or vice-versa. Either way, an ice warrior-mage got added on, and this is the result. Her sword arm is supposed to be out and forward, which makes the cloak droop in a most artistic manner. I'm not so sure about the slippers, though...
