Heres a story that my friend Kiara_Akishima wrote! Please enjoy!

Chapter 1
I sat there in the middle of 5th period, waiting for Mr. ???, to end class. Though, because he’s such a crappy teacher, and the fact that he wears a wig, we call him Mr.???. Hehe. All of a sudden, a girl, around seventh grade (my grade, making her around 13 as well), fell, as if from no where, and decided to make Mr. ??? the landing platform.
The entire class stared, as the girl got up. Mr. ??? didn’t like it, he jumped up and started to scold the girl, “What!? You can’t do that! Jumping a teacher!? Go to the principle! NOW!” he demanded.
“You can’t do that!” She retorted
“Oh why cant I?” He shot back
“Because I don’t go to this school.”
“Oh? I’m calling your parents!” he threatened, reaching for the phone.
“GO SCREW YOURSELF IN HELL!” She yelled, jumping out the window.
After school, walking home, something odd happened. I mean like, W-E-I-R-D. The girl, from before, jumped out of nowhere, and landed on me as well… “Watch where you’re going!” She said, looking down at me.
“Watch where I’m going? You’re the one who bolted out of nowhere and knocked me over!” I informed her.
“That’s funny! In other news, I’m Keiri! Nice to meet you! What’s your name?” She asked..
“Kiara.” I told her, because she finally got since enough to get off of me.
“That’s a nice name!” she said, now standing on her hands. It was dark, so it was hard to tell, but I made it out clear enough.
“Why are you on your hands?” I ask, looking confused, not that she could see…
“Well your legs gotta get tired sometime!” She offered.
“I guess your right… Where do you live?”
“I can’t answer that!”
“Why?” I tilt my head slightly.
“I don’t know where the hell I am! Why are you headed to an apartment building?” She asked, now on her feet again.
“Uhhh… I ditched my family when I was little because it was so messed up… My mother took drugs, and now she’s in the ‘Happy Home’ as some people call it. And my father is unfit to be a father for reasons not mentionable.” I say, looking down sadly…
“Than come with me!” She offered, holding out her hand.
“Why should I? Give me a reason.” I cross my arms.
“Okay! This city stinks like a dump.” She thought up. Sadly, it was true. It stinks here. Really, smells.
I shrug. “Works for me.”
“Good!” She said, walking off, with me close behind.
We trailed through the night, and out of the city. As the sun rises, I finally can see her. She has pitched black straight hair, with a tiny shine. Her eyes are a beautiful ocean blue-like what you see at the Caribbean- with it fading to green at the edges. She wore a reddish-brown top, sort of tight, more loose than tight though. She had matching pants, and ninja like shoes. She’s not extremely skinny, but she’s a bit under weight. It’s obvious that she’s a good fighter, but her kind heart just as noticeable. If one word sums her up, it would be beautiful.
I, on the other hand, have short dark brown, wavy hair. My eyes are brown. Plain brown. Nothing special. Why am I always the underdog in everything? Looks, talent, and fighting! Well, I’m the smartest in the seventh grade, but over all… Yeah, you get it.
“Let’s head in for the day!” She suggested at… 8 A.M.? Wow… This girl is weird…
“What do you mean? Its only morni---“ I was cut off…
“I said, ‘day’, didn’t I?” she smirked.
“Yeah, but why?”
“I don’t like the light!” She said, hissing.
“What are you, a vampire?” I ask chuckling at my comment.
“No. Even if I was, I’d still be walking in the sun… Vampires can’t be hurt by the sun… Only thing the sun can do to ‘em is give em’ sunburn! Also, they aren’t affected by garlic… Rosemary.” She said.
“How do you know?” I ask her.
“Hmmm… I have my sources…”
We continued through a trail, leading through a dense forest, covered in green. It felt like when you go on paint, and use the pour tool, then make the background green. Get it? For some reason, I felt as is we were being watched, but no matter what, I kept close behind Keiri, looking for any sign that no one was around. I hoped no one was there…
When I look back at Keiri, I don’t see her, but what I saw was a small black cat. As pitch black as Keiri’s hair. Its tail was wagging-call me crazy-but gracefully. Could this cat be Keiri?
“OH MY GOD KEIRI! WHAT HAPPENED!? WHAT TURNED YOU INTO A CAT! KEIRI! ANSWER MEEEE!!!” I blurted out, without thinking.
The cat changed into… Keiri! Thank goodness. “What are you yelling at? Haven’t you ever seen a shape-shifter before?”
“Actually, no.” I say, holding my head, checking for a fever.
As Keiri talked away about shape-shifters, I caught at the corner of my eye, glowing, blood red eyes. After a few minutes, they-thankfully-disappeared. My imagination, playing games on me, made it seem as if they were still there (some bad horror movie, eh?). I close my eyes, trying to escape it, but I still see the piercing red eyes, the terrifying stare. It was nauseating at this point.
About to pass out, I hear a boom on the ground.
