This just in: an important space-race newsflash from the Gaia admins!

A few days ago, we asked for your help in giving a new module in the International Space Station a beautiful and fitting name: Gaia.

It's become clear that we've got some pretty stiff competition in this race to space: a beloved TV personality has also thrown his hat in the module-naming ring, and while we love his show, we're also determined to crush him.

In the spirit of competition, we've decided to create a prize for those of you who support Gaia in its conquest of the cosmos: if you go throw in a vote for Gaia, we'll give you a commemorative item to celebrate the honorable defeat of a legendary showman.

This beautiful item could be yours if you vote for Gaia!

The contest rules state that you can vote once per day, so don't be afraid to throw in a vote even if you already voted on Thursday. To get your item and vote for Gaia, click this link. When you reach the NASA page, click "Suggest Your Own," then type Gaia into the box. Onward to space victory!
