NECROLOGY
Some of you may know me by a number of other names - West, Lord of the Westernlands, Z, Zan, Zansa, Zansatsu, JtR, Jacky, Ripper, and Karma to name a few - but after a lot of thought and the lack of activity from the people here on Gaia I've called friends over the years I've decided to put this account to new use as the satirical pale rider now known as Grumpy Death.
Understand that it's not going to be all gallows humor and snarky commentary. I intend to at least occasionally provide something insightful and provocative but for the most part it would be ill-advised to take me too seriously.
If I offend then please stop and think before responding to anything you read from me because odds are you're taking it too seriously or you just need to lighten up in general. The worst thing ever done to a cause is the hypocritical defense of it by its supporters. Want respect? Give it in return or get over the fact the person is just a jerk. You have no control over another person's opinions so all you can do is explain your POV and move on. World would be a lot better off if we all just agreed to disagree or at least maintained a civil discussion.
That's pretty much it. Now I've got an appointment to get to so see you three weeks.
