About

Felicia is a video game character from the Darkstalkers series of fighting game by Capcom. She is a catgirl with tan skin, long blue hair, white fur and pink claws.

According to her official biography, Felicia was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1967. Her three sizes are 88 cm (35 in), 61 cm (24 in), and 87 cm (34 in). She likes singing, performing, and cats, and dislikes mean people. She has been voiced by Kae Araki throughout all her video game appearances.
Background

Felicia was raised by a Catholic nun named Rose. When Rose died, Felicia left her town hoping to be a musical star. During her travels, she met many other catgirls of her kind. With her newfound friends, she set out for her dream of being on stage. Eventually, she and her friends started a musical with Felicia being the main star. For other uses, see Nun (disambiguation). ... // Music is an art form consisting of sound and silence expressed through time. ...

In the events of Darkstalkers 3, she wondered about how she could make others happy. In her ending, Felicia became a nun herself and founded an orphanage named "Felicity House." An orphanage (historically an orphans asylum before the latter word took on its modern insane asylum connotation) is an institution dedicated to caring for orphans (children who have lost their parents) and abused, abandoned, and neglected children. ...

Felicia's Friends

When playing as Felicia, players are able to perform a special move that summons several other Cat-women to Felicia's aid. Although they are not named in the game at all, they each have unique origins and names. They are as follows:

* Pico: A child with braided hair. Comes out when LK and MK is used for "Please Help Me". She is 14 years old (7 years old in the human age). Born in Minnesota, America. She used to live in an orphanage but, after she saw Felicia's stage performance, she left her orphanage to seek out Felicia. She found out she was a Cat-woman after she met Felicia. She is full of curiosity and fears nothing.

* Alto: A child with a ribbon, she appears during "Dark Force". She is 20 years old (10 years in human age). It's unknown where she was born. She was kept as a rare pet by a rich man but escaped soon after. She briefly lived in a mountainous area, but was saved by Grace (See Below). She is very shy and afraid of strangers. She was named 'Alto' by Grace.

* Nana and Mimi: These two Catgirls can be discerned by the ribbons they wear. Comes out when MK and HK is used for "Please Help Me". 22 years old (11 years in human age). Born in Hong Kong and raised in Saitama, Japan. They were taken to Japan when they snuck into a trade ship. They were raised by an understanding old couple. Both are very easy-going.

* Nonno: Alias Tama. Appears during "Please Help Me" and Felicia's new victory pose. Friends with Nana, they became friends in the mountains located behind their house. Her age and background isn't clear. She likes to hide in balls and play.

* Grace: Tall with a pony-tail. 48 years old(24 years in human age). Born in Utah, she is the guardian of Alto. She is incredibly skilled at donning a human appearance and can stay in that form the longest. She is like a mother to Alto and likes to take care of others.

* Lucy: Tall one with a bandanna. 36 years old(18 in human age). Born in Virginia, she used to work under a circus. When one of her few understanding human friends died of a sickness, she left the circus. While she was wandering, she met Felicia. She's very cynical and likes to make cynical remarks. She is the strongest out of the group.

According to Capcom, these catgirls are actually her 9 separate souls from different timelines, summoned up at once from tremendous power that Felicia exhibited when she was lonely. Felicia herself remains unaware of this. [citation needed]

Catwomen

The existence of a semi-human race called Catwomen was something shocking for humans. Although a huge panic did not occur right away. The loving look that they had soothed people's rejection to them. The look that people gave them was a look of interest in a rare animal instead of a monster.

In America, the public voiced their opinion about how the Catwomen should be recognized and respected. Soon, they were given fundamental human rights. But the look prejudice didn't completely disappear. The musical that starred Felicia was looked at as an exhibition. But once they had seen Felicia's dance and her lovely voice, the fact of being human or cat-woman made no difference. Felicia's loving personality was able to cleanse the dark parts of humans.

The Catwomen race are born as normal human baby girls, but around the age of 4-10, they start to grow body hair, ears, and tails. And although there are individual differences, they have the ability to transform, thus enabling them to hide their ears, limbs, hair, and tails and look like a normal female human being to avoid attention. Their sense of smell is several thousand times that of a human. They use this sense of smell to find other Catwomen. They also dis-like sunlight and usually act at night.

As the name suggests, there are no men in the Catwomen race. There have been Catwomen who married human men, but their children are ordinary humans. At the present moment, they have no means to giving birth to any more Catwomen. Most likely, the existence of the male race of Catmen cannot exist in the human world. However there may be some In Makai.

Anime

The anime version of Felicia is currently clawing her way up the rock star ladder, already having a certain amount of success under her furry belt, and just starting a tour in the human world. Her tour gets off to a rough start as she gets embroiled in the growing human/Darkstalker war, spurned by the arrival of Pyron and the Huitzil robots. She is captured by a human paramilitary group, but escapes with the help of some other humans who are fans of hers. In the end, she saves the people of a small town from a Huitzil attack, with the reluctant help of Jon Talbain. UDON Comics

In the UDON Comics version of Darkstalkers, Felicia is still looking for her big break into stardom; unfortunately being a catgirl proves to be a very large road block on the path to fame. Along the way, she runs into the werewolf, Jon Talbain who believes that humans are treacherous and vile, while she thinks that the current hatred between humans and Darkstalkers are just a few "bumps in the road." Despite the fact that his interference costs her a potential gig, Felicia asks Jon to accompany her, so that she can try to prove to him that humanity is not all bad. Felicia's origins are much the same as well. One notable exception is the character of the nun who raised her. Here she is named Cecillia and is still alive and active in Felicia's life.

American Cartoon

Felicia was the main hero in the American cartoon series. She was perhaps the least altered, though (in accordance with American TV S&P) her breasts were considerably downsized and she appeared to "wear" a "bra" instead of patches of fur. She was accompanied by Harry Grimoire, a character created for this particular series whose purpose (aside from a plot device) was mainly to get Felicia into trouble. She's also stated to be several hundred years old in this version (in fact, she got stuck with Harry when she went looking for an ancestor of his), though at this point, she would technically be 28 since the show takes place in 1995. Her dreams of being a singer are never mentioned (although in the first episode she was fired from Cats because her "costume" was "out of date"). Cats is an award-winning musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on Old Possums Book of Practical Cats and other poems by T. S. Eliot. ...
