Awesome! What kind of music do you like and what is your singing style? I wish that I had a deeper voice (I love deep female singing voices), but alas. I can't go too high either, but as a child I received Dido's first cassette (lol, I miss those) as a birthday gift and I learnt to sing long notes very well from that. Perhaps I'm still very much like Dido with my singing, now.
I think it's very much expected that places like Australia, New Zealand and North America have a very mixed heritage. Especially us as we were only colonised 220 odd years ago.
It's nice to have a little diversity, haha. =3 I'll always have my favourites of each category and genre though.
Yes, Japanese mythology is quite interesting! I love all of the old Celtic tales though. My grandmother even had a very interesting family name (Scottish) which means "faerie mound".
Maybe we can help each other with the languages then? I tend to pick up languages very fast and can relay them better than I've read. For me, I was initially self-taught and then was tutored privately in Japanese from the age of 13 by two Japanese women. I later in high school studied Japanese to receive a certificate to prove that I actually knew the language, as ridiculous as it sounds.
