No prob. And welcome back! Favorites have been around for a little while, but they confused me at first too. If you click the red heart beneath someone's avi on the forums, it allows you to save that particular avi in your collection (under the My Gaia menu). You can make your own categories too, or share your whole collection with other people. This is mine, for instance: http://www.gaiaonline.com/collections/show/5147340
