The avatar is your original design,

but the style in which you did it is not.

There are too many people submitting art that are just characters.

Try adding more details like clothing accessories, backgrounds, and motion.

There are many different things that can be added.

Make your work stand out from the crowd,

I don't critique based on the subject material as that would be biased.

Originality is based on the difference of your work from that of the general public.

You have plenty of talent,

just take your time and expand your skills to more than character design.
